Day 1
Mombasa/Diani to Tsavo East Game Drives
Early Morning Departure & En-Route Game Drive
Your adventure begins with a pre-dawn pick-up from your coastal hotel (Mombasa or Diani). Drive along the Mombasa-Nairobi highway. Enter Tsavo East National Park via the main gate and immediately commence an **en-route game drive** towards your selected lodge or camp.
Afternoon Game Drive Exploration
After checking in and enjoying lunch, head out for a thrilling **afternoon game drive**. Focus your search around the **Aruba Dam** and the Lugard Falls, areas known to attract a high concentration of animals. Look for large herds of elephants, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and various cat species.
**Focus:** Spotting the famed 'Maneless Lions of Tsavo' and capturing images of the elephants coated in the park's characteristic red dust.
Evening
Return to your accommodation (Voi Safari Lodge/Camp or similar) as the sun sets. Enjoy a hearty dinner and relax overnight, anticipating the early morning wildlife action.
Day 2
Tsavo East Sunrise Game Drive & Coastal Return
Sunrise Game Drive
Start the day with an early morning game drive, the best time for spotting predators returning from a night of hunting. This final drive provides excellent opportunities for observing animals in the soft morning light.
Breakfast & Final Check-out
Return to the lodge for a full breakfast. Bid farewell to the spectacular Tsavo plains and check out.
Transfer Back to Mombasa/Diani
Your driver will begin the journey back to the coast. You will arrive at your hotel in Mombasa or Diani Beach in the afternoon, concluding your exhilarating 2-day safari adventure.
