Safari Itinerary

Day 1 Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
Morning Drive & Arrival
Depart Nairobi at 7:00 am for a scenic road trip into the Great Rift Valley. Your destination is Lake Nakuru National Park, known as a sanctuary for both black and white rhinos.
Afternoon Game Drive
After securing accommodation, head out for your first game drive. The park is a birdwatcher's paradise, famous for its seasonal flamingos, and offers excellent chances to spot endangered Rothschild's giraffes and the elusive leopard.
Day 2 Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha
Morning & Transfer
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Nakuru, followed by breakfast and checkout. Drive the short distance to the peaceful freshwater haven of Lake Naivasha.
Boat Safari & Wildlife
After lunch, embark on a fun boat ride across the lake. This is a magical experience where you can get close to submerged hippos and witness the incredible density of birdlife, including the magnificent African Fish Eagle.
**Optional Activity:** Take a walking safari on Crescent Island, an area where giraffes, zebras, and antelopes roam freely.
Day 3 Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve
The Journey to the Mara
After breakfast, begin the drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve (approx. 5-6 hours). This is Kenya's premier destination for wildlife viewing, offering incredible densities of animals.
Afternoon Game Drive
Arrive for lunch and check-in. The late afternoon features your first thrilling game drive in the expansive plains, seeking out the Big Five and the vast herds of grazers that define the Mara.
Day 4 Full Day in Masai Mara
Sunrise & Morning Game Drive
Start the day with a pre-dawn game drive to witness the savannah waking up and maximize your chances of seeing the predators in action. Return for a full breakfast.
Extended Game Drive & Picnic
Spend the remainder of the day exploring the vast reserve with a packed lunch, allowing you to venture deeper into the Mara's diverse ecosystems. Look for the Great Migration (seasonal: July-October).
**Optional Upgrade:** Experience the incredible Hot Air Balloon Safari over the plains at dawn (additional cost).
Day 5 Masai Mara to Amboseli National Park
Full Day of Scenic Transfer
Today is a dedicated travel day with a very early start. You will drive from the Masai Mara to Amboseli National Park (approx. 8-11 hours). This journey connects the Rift Valley to the southern plains, offering a chance to see the changing Kenyan landscape.
Amboseli Arrival
You will arrive at Amboseli National Park in the late afternoon/evening, check into your accommodation, and prepare for the iconic views the park is famous for. Dinner and overnight.
**Travel Tip:** The long road transfer can be substituted with a scenic flight (at an additional cost) to maximize comfort and time.
Day 6 Amboseli to Nairobi
Final Game Drive & Kilimanjaro View
Embark on an early morning game drive, the best time to see the colossal herds of elephants and capture the breathtaking, unobstructed view of **Mount Kilimanjaro** rising over the plains.
Departure
Return to the camp for a final breakfast. Check out and begin the road transfer back to Nairobi (approx. 4-5 hours), arriving in the afternoon for drop-off at your hotel or the international airport.

  1. Best Time to Visit: The dry season (June to October) is ideal for wildlife viewing, as animals gather around water sources. However, these parks are accessible year-round.
  2. Health and Safety: Ensure you have the necessary vaccinations and carry anti-malarial medication. Travel insurance is highly recommended.
