Day 3 Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara & Afternoon Game Drive
The Journey to the Mara
After an early breakfast, begin the drive to the globally renowned Masai Mara National Reserve (approx. 5-6 hours). This drive transitions from the Rift Valley floor to the expansive savannah.
First Taste of the Wild: Afternoon Game Drive
Arrive in time for lunch at your camp/lodge. The late afternoon will feature your first crucial game drive in the Mara. This is a prime time for spotting lions, cheetahs, and the famous Big Five as the temperature cools. You are now spending two full nights in the Mara!
Day 4 Full Day of Deep Masai Mara Exploration
Sunrise Game Drive & Full Exploration
This is your full day dedicated to the ultimate Mara experience. Start with a pre-dawn game drive to catch the predators hunting. Follow the tracks of large lion prides and search for leopards hidden in the riverine thickets.
Extended Drive & Picnic Lunch
Spend the entire day deep inside the reserve with a packed bush lunch, allowing you to reach the far corners, including the famed Mara River (especially relevant during the Great Migration season). This maximizes both time and game sighting diversity.
Optional Upgrade: Experience the incredible Hot Air Balloon Safari over the plains at dawn, followed by a champagne breakfast (additional cost).
Day 5 Masai Mara Morning Drive to Nairobi
Final Sunrise Game Drive
