Day 1
Drive to Masai Mara National Reserve
Morning Departure (Approx. 7:00 AM)
Day one commences with a departure from Nairobi. The road journey to Masai Mara National Reserve typically takes around 5.5 to 6.5 hours, including a stop at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint for photos and views.
Afternoon Game Drive
Upon arrival at the reserve gate, you will proceed to your pre-booked lodge or camp to freshen up and enjoy lunch. Later, a park ranger/guide will lead an afternoon game drive upon entering the park, offering initial sightings of the reserve's iconic big mammals.
Focus: Spotting large grazers and experiencing the vast Mara plains for the first time.
Evening
The day concludes with a sunset journey back to your accommodations for a satisfying meal and well-deserved rest.
Day 2
Full Day Masai Mara Exploration
Early Morning Game Drive
Day two begins with an early morning game drive, providing captivating views of the African sunrise and bustling wildlife activity. This is the prime time for predator sightings. Birdwatchers will also be thrilled to spot over 300 bird species in the Mara.
Mid-Day Activities & Picnic
After a few hours, you will enjoy a packed lunch at a scenic picnic spot amidst the wildlife.

Afternoon Game Drive

Masai Mara to Nairobi
